Frequently Asked Questions

What do you do with my data?

We only require your credit card information to process your monthly payments to use the software. We never request any of your customer's or vendor's data. All information is transferred and stored on a secure and encrypted server. We also strictly forbid our staff and support team of ever sharing your payment information with anybody over email, phone, or any communication medium.

When will I get billed?

Your card will be billed on the next monthly date of when your first activated your full version of the software. If, for example, you use the trial for a week and activate your live account on the 9th of January, you will be charged on the 9th every following month.

For annual plans, you will be charged again every calendar year. You will receive warning emails of payment renewal 60, 30, and 7 days prior to your annual plan renewing.

Can I cancel anytime I want?

You sure can. Typical cancellations will keep your account live until your next billing date. It will then be archived and inactive. For annual subscription cancellations, in most cases you will receive a refund of the remaiing months in your year term. We do however retain the authority to withhold refunds per our discretion.

Is there a risk of you losing my data?

Our servers operate under the Amazon Web Services ecosystem. Meaning, your data is always backed up and using the same technology as some of the most powerful server infrastructures in the entire world. As with any online platform, there is always a risk, but our software uses the same security and encryption as most national platforms.

How many users can be logged in at once?

Technically, there is no limit. Please be aware that if you have multiple people editing and making changes to the exact same product or consignor, saving those changes may overrule the progress of the other user. However, you can have as many staff using the POS, reporting, and entering inventory or consignors as you want.

Can I switch between annual and monthly payments?

If you have enjoyed your experience with Ricochet and would like to switch to an annual payment plan, please contact our customer service line and we would be happy to upgrade you.
